The idea of Tenuta Pilastru comes from the personal experience of their landlords, who, have been living in the countryside since their childhood, have always heard from their parents saying "one day, when you grow up, you won’t come back here any more".
It is in the countryside, season after season slowly, that you can catch the shading colours, the intensity of scents and perfumes and the relaxing company of the most different sounds. It is not easy to pass on certain emotions to people who have never experienced the magic of the countryside. But if curiosity is the base of knowledge, Pilastru can fascinate you with its free spirit.
Let’s close our eyes… it is easy to describe the scene: a track road, slightly upward, leading to an ancient building of Gallura completely refurbished. Further up, a few metres away from the large square surrounded by the trees, we can see a group of the local typical chalets, hidden in the green of plants and protected by their shade and giving you the image of tranquillity, peace and authenticity.
RThen, here an imposing presence concealed behind the greenery: the Conche. They are granite rocks carved by the elements into natural caverns, surrounded by stone walls where ancient people lived in once. You wouldn’t mind about the neighing of the horses. The stables are located nearby at a walking distance and from there you can set off to all the archaeological itineraries just following the directions for the path.
Allevamento Bovini Pilastru is not only a concept of pleasure to communicate….it is a reality…..which has been lived through the years sharing time among the village, the city, the studies and the relaxing summer holidays. Pilastru is a special proposal, but not the only solution, for all of those who love or wish to experience the “green”, with total respect and without idealization, living with it day after day.
